While taking a stroll through Todos Santos in the Cuchumatanes mountains I stumbled upon this girl and her sisters. They were playing in the road in front of their mother who was weaving out in front of their home. These girls were full of energy and vivace when they came over and asked me to take their pictures. They knew it was a sure way to scam a couple of dollars off a tourist. I asked their mother if it was O.K. and with her approval I started snapping a few candids. I didn't know they would turn out to be some of the best pictures I would take. Though you' ld never know it by the smiles these energetic kids were wearing, I felt like they might be in need. Their mother looked exhausted and her clothing was old and faded. They all just looked at me like I was crazy when I told them I would try to sell the photos and come back with their profit. I know they didn't believe me. I'm looking forward to selling these photos and returning with some money for this family.
